| Growing up hidden away from the world one may think Kayla Perkinson's life would be a tale of heart break and struggle. Except neither of those things are true, it is true her parents were an angel father and human conjurer mother. It is also true they left her on the steps of a church where she would be taken to the mountains then raised by two loving parents. One an ex-priest that became a teacher in the local town at the foothills of the mountain, and loving nurse other who devoted her life to helping others.
They loved her and showed nothing but compassion and strength her entire life. She would grow up happy wanting nothing more than to be outside in the woods with her little furry friends, of course as she grew older her powers begin to take hold. She would learn to use glamour to hide her appearance so she could go into town. Over time her parents relented and let her attend high school where she became one of the most popular girls in school not just because of beauty but also do the fact she was kind and considerate to everyone.
Her senior year was when things all changed a plague decimated the world infecting millions. At the time no one knew whether it was the vaccination or the plague that turned many into Zombies but either way what happened next changed the world. Countries turned on one another launching attacks at one another even though all places were fighting and losing the battle against the growing zombie horde.
Until others like her joined the battle, over time and with some amazing discoveries the world was saved, but a new issue arose. How were humans going to live side by side with creatures of their nightmares? Kayla would lose her parents in the war but wanted to honor their memory because she saw first-hand that humans could accept all creatures but comprises had to be made.
Because of the angel blood that is in her veins she did not age, with the conjurer blood in her she was also able to master air spells which she took to be her as mother was air caster. For a while she used her angelic abilities to roam the old USA trying to convince anyone that would listen to try and build a new world for all, she found her perfect home in Xucphia.
A placed determined to prove all creatures could live and work together peacefully. She was recruited to work with the new City Guards as the face for change. She had the perfect face to show the masses that even though they were so very different they were also very much alike.
