It was these handy little tricks that helped him get the attention of the Ellianna Saxon, the most beautiful lady in the world let alone campus. She was shy at first but Mason in time knew he could crack that shell, not because he was arrogant rather patient and understanding. Soon their friendship grew into something a whole more.
She was the one that encouraged him to pursue a career as an illusionist, always telling him he was wasting his gift not entertaining people. At first, he was reluctant because while at first, he could only manage little feats. The more he used his powers the stronger they became. Allowing him to do more amazing feats. Soon it would be hard to explain how he was able to do some of things, for in truth they were not illusions, but then again, the best way to a hide secret is have open to all.
As his fame grew around the world, people would soon begin to call him "The Greatest Illusionist". Some people would swear that he was magic while others would laugh at them explaining just how he actually did it. All the while hiding his abilities right in front of people allowing them to fight over what was real and what was fake. The downside to his fame and growing power was the effect in took on his relationship with Elli, because eventually no matter how hard he tried she figured out he was an Evolve. The good part was she kept his secret because she loved him, the bad part was she left him because he lied and didn't trust her. |
